Another month, another list of favorite things! Here are some of the things we’ve loved this month, from treats to beauty products. Take a look and let me know if there is something I missed!
Favorite Book
If you haven’t read the Emma Lion series, what are you waiting for?? They are delightfully entertaining and Emma is quite possible the most unique and fiercely brave girl! Although it isn’t common to read other people’s journals, these are journals that everyone should read! The first book took me a while to get into but I jumped right into the rest of them and couldn’t put them down! The thing I love most about these series is that Emma, reminds me so much of my cute daughter Alice. I giggle every time I read it because it could totally be Alice in every scene. Favorite Treats
You know about Jasons’ sweet tooth! Well this month we found these Smarties Squashies and they are incredible! Soft, marshmallowly but so so good! We have given them to all our friends and now everyone is obsessed! This month Jason bought a three pound bag of lemon heads. I don’t care for them but he had eaten the entire bag in a week and got canker sores all over his mouth. Serves him right! Have a sweet tooth? Check out our favorite bulk candies right here!
Favorite Tech Items
Please tell me I’m not the only one who needs 100 chargers all over the house? Jason ordered these 10 foot phone charger and we are obsessed! No more sitting too close to a wall to wait for something to charge! Now we have chords and chargers in every room in the house. If you’re having the same problem, check them out here. We’ve been looking for a new phone holder for Emily’s car and this one is incredible! The only downfall is I have to take off the Walli case but I love having it in a spot I can see and available if I need to use it. Check out our other favorite tech finds here.
Favorite Toy
We have the Skylight Calendar and have been using the reward tracker on it for our kids. They love having an incentive to work towards and we love being able to work together to set and achieve goals. Many of Olive’s friends received real life looking baby dolls for Christmas and although she has dolls, she didn’t have one of these. I loved watching her ask for extra jobs and jump in and help out a little more because I knew just how much she wanted this doll. It is pretty light weight but wild how much it looks like a real baby. She earned it after two months of work and has proudly named her Abby after her favorite book character.
Favorite Bag
I am a bag girl! I always have been but this is my favorite thing! Collapsable, light weight, easy to clean, this bag will be my best friend this summer running to all of the activities with kids. I fell into peer pressure and got the Bogg bag, which I love the look of it but the reality is that no matter how much you put into it, it will always weigh 67 pounds. So I love this bag as a less expensive, light weight option.
Favorite Beauty
With Jason’s new obsession with long hair, he is loving this texture spray to help hold it into place. It gives a little grit to the hair and makes it a little thicker. I am over here dying of winter and have been using my Coco and Eve products to bring a little light and color back to my body. Isn’t it wild how much joy sunshine can bring our lives?
