Mixing the sweetness of a chocolate chip cookie and placing it in a pie crust. You can’t go wrong with a delicious Tollhouse pie!
A non-traditional pie
Traditionally, when I think of pies I think of pumpkin, fruit, or cream. This pie will take you out of your comfort zone and into a new area of pleasure. Tollhouse pie is one of our family favorites. It mixes the sweetness of a chocolate chip cookie and places it in a pie crust.
We were talking about pies the other night and no one could name a pie that they actually enjoyed. But everyone said they loved Tollhouse pie. There is something about it that makes everyone feel at home. So don’t make your guests eat something they won’t love. Give Tollhouse pie a try!
Our favorite Thanksgiving pie!
Not only is this simple to make, but will be the first to disappear. I love making Tollhouse pies because I can make them ahead and reheat them when we are ready to serve. Tollhouse pie can be made for any occasion.
This time I used a homemade crust, but pre-made ones work just as well and are a timesaver.
Give it a shot this year and you will be the talk of the party!
