The sleek design, expert-led sessions, and supportive community create an engaging workout environment that keeps you coming back for more, ensuring you get the most out of your fitness journey.

We have absolutely loved all our Peloton products, so let me tell you which ones we have, why we love them, and if you want to connect you can probably guess my user name (okay, fine I’ll tell you it’s themoderndad).

The Tread+

We live in Utah and the winters get so cold that there is no way I could run outside during those months so we decided to invest in a great treadmill to help us stay active. The Peloton Tread+ is pricey but I can say that it is 100% worth every single penny. I am a bigger guy, so to actually be able to run on a treadmill and not feel like it’s stopping because of your weight is nice. The incline grade is bigger and is a little bit longer to help not shorten your stride.

Peloton has a variety of classes where you can pick from your favorite instructor, type of music, length of class or just take a stroll in another city. They recently added the function when you are doing the class that the tread can automatically adjust to what the instructor is telling you to do (because we all know if we are working out at home, and even in classes sometimes, we don’t actually do what they say). It’s pretty incredible.

The Tread+ are bigger, so if you are planning on getting this be sure to measure your space. That is one of the reasons Peloton released the regular Tread so you can do the classes as well, but if you are going to really invest in your equipment, the Tread+ is the way to go.

The Bike+

The Peloton bike was the original product of the brand, so they have so many more classes. Seriously, there is a class for everyone. The Bike+ has a hands-free option and your resistance will automatically adjust to match what your instructor calls out, how awesome is that? And you can charge your phone with the USB-C port, we all need that feature. The other nice thing with the bike is that you can turn the screen and use it for other workouts. You are paying a big difference, just over $1,000, so if those things don’t interest you then you can go with the basic bike.

One of my favorite things to do on the bike is a game called Lanebreaker. You pick the music type, length of time, then the level of difficulty. The game is set up where there are lanes (think lanes of a track) and you ride trying to get points for different things. To move lanes, you have to turn the difficulty knob.

There are different things you do like sprint, have to be in a specific cadence, and other things. It really is fun! Give it a try and let me know what you think!

The Guide

I got the Guide because I wanted to start doing more weight training, stretching, and yoga classes. The guide sits on top of or below your TV and can see what you are doing. As you do the moves with the instructor, it will tell you if you are doing them correctly or not. It can count your reps, you do have to enter in the range of weights you are doing, but it will track how much weight you lifted at the end of the workout, and really it has been a nice, cheaper addition to our home gym.

It’s very similar to a Tonal or a Mirror, but if you are really wanting something for home that doesn’t break the bank and you already have some weights, this is a good option because it’s under $100
