I guess you could say that I am on a bit of a salad kick, but honestly in the summer time what is more refreshing than a delicious salad to enjoy after lounging around the pool all day. I mean, life is hard during the summer months so why make your meals hard?
This is a family favorite around our house around this time of year. Honestly though, when it comes to food I love anything that has an Asian flare to it. Maybe that’s why I love this easy Asian salad so much.
A salad like this though is great for family barbeques or any outdoor parties that you might be going to. I hate going to a party where I take a salad and have to take half of it home after because no one really liked it. Then you don’t eat it later because it’s all wilted and soggy, gross. Well that has never been a problem with this salad. The only thing you will see left of this salad will be a couple toasted sesame seeds on the bottom of the salad bowl. It is always the first salad gone and never disappoints.
Try it out with your family or just trust me on this one and take it to all those parties you’ve been invited to. Everyone is going to want the recipe and you can just say, check The Modern Dad. See how easy I make your life? You’re welcome!
