Where’s The Changing Pad?

I feel that there is a situation that needs to be addressed, and I am sure you ladies will love this.

Why is it, that most of the time, changing stations are only in women’s bathrooms? Let me tell you about a little experience I had at church yesterday that I am sure others can relate to:

At church we have a three our block (Sacrament, Sunday school, priesthood/relief society) and during that second hour I am teaching Sunday school while my wife is teaching the seven-eight year olds in primary.

We decided that it would be best if I take our son during sunday school because my class I teach high schoolers and figured they would be fine with it, where my wife’s class requires much more attention from her.

So as I was teaching I noticed that smell that we all love so dearly when your child is filling up their diaper. I knew that I needed to change him, but my class is all 15-16 year old boys and they don’t want to see that. As I picked up my son and put my hand to his butt the top leaked out

Our ward has a changing station in the men’s bathroom. You should tell your bishop they need to get one.

Oh man, that stinks (in so many ways!). I actually hate changing stations and prefer to squat and always changed my babies laying them on my knees with their legs up on my chest, but this would not have worked with a blow out! Next time, just knock on the ladies’ room door! I’m sure they will understand!
