Happy New Year! We officially have made it to another year, and boy I am excited for what we have going on this year! Just like many of you, when the new year comes around I think about the goals I have set in the past and if I achieved them or not, and what goals I want to set and try and keep for this year. Normally one of my goals is to drink more water, but let’s face it, water is boring and often repetitive. So when you gave me all the best water drinks to try there were so many great options for flavor mix ins that I can do at home, I had to share them with you! Water is so important and so hard sometimes so hopefully this helps you drink more water this year!
First we’ll start with your drink mixes:
- True Lemon Strawberry Lemonade with a splash of coconut creamer
- Liquid IV grape with a splash of lime juice
- White Monster and 1/2 Liquid IV
- Lemonade packet with a fruit flavor packet, tastes like skittles or jolly ranchers
- Strawberry packet, 1/2 lemon, and sugar free coconut creamer
- Great Value mango peach with a little bit of coconut creamer
- Piña colada with green apple
- Zipfizz piña colada with coconut creamer
- Zipfizz peach mango with vanilla
- Crystal Light wild strawberry with coconut milk
- Crystal Light wild strawberry with peach puree, strawberry puree, and coconut creamer
- Just Ingredients blue Hawaiian electrolyte with a mango Re-lyte
- Water mixed with 1/2 of a cherry flavored Bai drink and 2 True Lime packets
- Sunkist peach mix with a fresh lemon
- Margaritaville Caribbean fruit punch with tang pouch and a squirt of coconut flavor
You guys really came through with the best mix ins that you use at home:
- By far the most recommended brand was True Lemon/True Lime. These are great because there are no artificial sweeteners, only 1 gram of sugar, and easily available at the grocery store. The favorite flavor was watermelon limeade, which sounds delicious! Strawberry lemonade, peach, wildberry, lemonade, and strawberry were also recommended.
- Liquid IV is a close second favorite, they have a ton of flavors, with options of sugar free, which is what I will be reaching for this year as I try to cut down my sugar intake. Your favorite flavors are peach, grape, artic blue raspberry, piña colada, and golden cherry.
- If you are looking for a zero calorie, no added sugar option, Re-lyte is the way to go. The two most recommended flavors are piña colada and watermelon lime.
- LMNT is a huge favorite of yours. They have very intriguing flavors too, chocolate salt, mango chili, chocolate caramel, I’m definitely going to have to try some of these.
- If you are going to Walmart check out the Great Value packets, they also come in an energy option, which we all need after the last two weeks! Blackberry lemonade (this one is delicious!), strawberry, blueberry acai, cherry pomegranate, dragon fruit, raspberry lemonade, and pomegranate lemonade are the top recommended flavors. There is also a delicious sounding combo pack with peach ring, cotton candy, mermaid mix, and unicorn mix. If you’re trying to get your kids to drink more water, this would be great!
- If you are looking to replace your soda with water, Zipfizz is a great option with 100 mg of caffeine, but also includes vitamin B12, vitamin C, and has no sugar. You can also get them at Costco, and you know how much I love going to Costco! Fruit punch, peach mango, piña colada, and limon were the top flavor recommendations.
- I didn’t know these existed, but Starburst packets? Yum! Obviously the all pink would be the favorite, but lemon and blue raspberry are also delicious!
- Transform Hydration has a ton of flavor options, with zero calories and zero sugar. Your favorites are rocket pop and cherry limeade.
- If you’re looking for the Jolley Rancher’s flavor check out Pure Kick. They also have flavors like strawberry, watermelon, and grape if Jolley Rancher isn’t your flavor of choice.
