A few weeks ago I decided to make French Toast with my bread recipe for a church campout and you can’t just have homemade French Toast without a delicious homemade syrup. This syrup from Made It Ate It Loved It has now become an obsession at our house!
It’s perfect for waffles, pancakes, French Toast, and if we’re being honest, I wouldn’t judge you for finding other things to put it on too! The best part is that it is so easy to make. I love a recipe that tastes like I put way more effort into it than I actually did.

When making it for the campout I made sure to double the recipe knowing that there would be a ton of teenage boys eating it. And if you are doing a big gathering I would even say to quadruple it, to make sure there is enough. All the boys loved it, and I’m sure they licked their plates when I wasn’t looking.
The rest of the family was so sad that I made it for the young men that I had to make it for them and I haven’t stopped making it since. This is also something you can prepare beforehand and keep in the fridge for later.
