Fall is definitely in the air around here, which means cold and flu season is vastly approaching. Of course my kids have been a little under the weather. I was trying to figure out what I could do to get them feeling a little better. Coughs, runny noses and dry skin has been a huge issue. After asking and looking for a perfect solution I found one; the Crane humidifier.
“While humidifiers, air purifiers, and space heaters are some of the best ways to control indoor air pollutants and heating, most people don’t break into a smile about these traditionally unexciting humidity, air quality, and heating solutions. Here at Crane, we are looking to change that.” This sold me.
Unsure of sure what I was looking for, I wanted something that was simple, not bulky and got the job done. My kids are probably going to be using it the most, but I also wanted something that if I needed to use it wouldn’t look out of place. When you have kids, you get pretty good and sleeping through anything. All I need is another noise around the house. Crane hit the nail on the head for each of the things I wanted.
A couple things that really sold me on the blue and white drop cool mist humidifier are:
- Auto-Off function activates when water tank is empty
- Does not require a filter
- Ultrasonic Cool Mist increases air moisture for easier breathing and a good night’s sleep
To find a product that will help my kids have a good night’s sleep is a gem in my book.
Of course you read these things on their website and think, how great can it really be? My kids were really getting sick and I put the humidifier in their room. Seriously, it was so quiet, the cool mist was just what they needed to clear up. And then it wasn’t obnoxious looking in their room. It actually went really good.
We had an old humidifier that we were using and I hated that the water would run out. Half way through the night I’d have to get up and refill it. With the Crane this was never an issue. In fact, I would get up in the morning, check on my kids and see that the humidifier was still going.
When you are using a humidifier, make sure there is airflow going into the room it’s being used. You want to monitor the indoor humidity of your home and look for an increase in condensation, mold or insects in your home. No one wants any of those things.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Yes, it’s a humidifier, but if it helps my kids sleep better I am 100% for it. Check out their entire line of products and find the perfect one for you and your family’s needs.
