We love having some kind of roll at our dinners, but sometimes making 3-hour rolls for the three of us is a little extreme. When I found this recipe for easy cheesy garlic butter crescents I knew that I had to pin them to come back to later. Not only are they easy, they’re absolutely delicious and completely addicting.
I remember when my wife and I were dating and I went to a dinner at her family’s house, they had the best rolls I had ever tasted. I knew then that I had to be in this family because my carb addiction was real and these rolls were going to do a great job at satisfying that addiction.
What is it about delicious rolls that make us eat such uncontrollable amounts that we have to sit on the couch after, kick back a little and then take an hour long nap? I have loved rolls since I was little, but the time that it takes to make them would always distract me. Luckily these cheesy garlic butter rolls are super easy and so quick to make that you will want to make them every day for every meal. Ok maybe that’s a little extreme but they are that easy and that delicious.
Give them a try this week and see what you think. I promise you’ll have to make a few dozen because the first dozen won’t last till dinner.
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls (pack of 8)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 4 mozzarella cheese sticks (aka: string cheese)

- Open the package of crescents and unroll each roll on a flat, clean surface. Place a cheese stick at the wide end of each crescent roll. Roll the wide end toward the tip of the triangle Place on the greased baking sheet. Brush butter mixture over the top of each roll.
