People ask me all the time what platforms I enjoy using. Well, Facebook of course because I love seeing what friends and family are up to, but on my Modern Dad Facebook page I enjoy sharing my posts and pictures. I love to use Twitter because I enjoy getting quick news, connecting with brands that I love and seeing what other daddy bloggers out there are doing. Instagram is my favorite because I love sharing photos of my son and the latest things I’m up to. It is my way of showing people the real me. But what platform have I enjoyed since the beginning? Pinterest.
It’s funny because Pinterest is used mostly by women (80% to be exact), but that doesn’t mean that men can’t be on there . Not just that, but my most popular boards are my women’s fashion, my style, kids clothes, and food boards. You wouldn’t think that a guy would have boards that are blowing up on Pinterest for fashion and food, but things are changing.

For fall I love layering. There is something about buffalo plaid that I am loving this year.
The plaid layers with a basic cardigan is perfect.
Then adding yellow gold, you know you’re doing something right.
Designer Whitney, from Sonnet James, has done it again.
Her simple, modest and comfortable dresses are perfect for the on the go mom, but I am loving them on pregnant women.

I pray that my closet could be half the closet his is.
A simple summer to fall look is always a must.
I may have cut at least five pairs of my jeans into jorts (jean shorts).
